Study Italian languages, literature and linguistics and enhance your understanding of Italy’s place in the global context and the multi-faceted and dynamic Italian culture.

Program Information

Italian Studies focuses on aspects of literature, culture, language, linguistics, media, film, opera, and Italian-Canadian studies. Students may choose major/minor degree options in Italian Studies and iBA Italian Studies or, if completing specializations in other disciplines students may pursue a Certificate of Proficiency in Italian language only.
