Multicultural and Indigenous Studies
Develop an understanding of the issues facing a society that is engaged in struggles around racial and ethnic equality. You will study the impacts of globalization, migration and diaspora, Indigenous and anti-racist-feminism, Islamophobia and anti-Semitism.
The Multicultural and Indigenous Studies program brings together anti-racist, ethnic and Indigenous studies in a unique program that enables students to explore the specific concerns of racialized, immigrant or Indigenous communities while learning about their interconnections. Students can choose to focus on Indigenous studies, diasporic studies or racism and multicultural studies (or a combination of the three).
