Professor, Sexuality Studies
"What is unique about our program is the diversity of expertise our faculty offer: it is a truly interdisciplinary program that brings together scholars with backgrounds in, among other things, philosophy, literature, art, visual arts and film, the social sciences, political science, anthropology, sociology, psychology, social work, and humanities, in both French and English, to examine sexuality in relation to questions of sex, gender, race, ethnicity, indigeneity, ability, class and colonization in both the past and present. This means that students have the opportunity to pursue their interests from a range of intersecting vantage points.
Our program fosters an incredibly strong sense of community and engagement in and amongst our students. Students are likely to meet people with whom they will not only continue to network, but with whom they will become friends for life."
